Early bird promotions for this year's Singapore GP ticket sales

In a bid to allow more people to have a chance to watch the Singapore GP 'live', the Singapore GP organisers have decided to implement a two-tier release for the tickets to this year's Singapore Grand Prix in September.

A total of 72,000 tickets will be released and this is about 2,000 more than the tickets that were released last year. The early bird promotion will start from the 9th of April, sales would open for Turn 1, Turn 2, Stamford and Pit Grandstands.

Early bird for the rest of the types of tickets - Walkabout and Bay Grandstand - would be going for sales on 20th April. Up to 50% of each category of tickets will be available for the Early Bird promotion and once they are sold out, the remaining tickets will be selling at the 2009 prices, which will sell for the new 2009 prices.

For more information on the ticket prices, refer to the following annexes released by the Singapore GP Organisers at their website (http://www.singaporegp.sg).

Annex 1 - Ticket Release Details
Annex 2 - Early Bird Savings Off 2008 & 2009 Regular Ticket Pricing
