Name the Singapore Turns Contest!
TODAY newspaper, together with Mediacorp, has organised a Name That Turn contest.
If you have an idea what names to give Turns 1, 7 and 10, email your entry to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , with a 50-word max explanation on why you chose the names. Prizes include 3-day passes for the top 3 winners at the grandstand closest to the turn they named, a pitlane tour, as well as the best overall winner will get a two-night stay in a five-star trackside hotel.
The names must include "Turn" or "Corner", have a strong local favour (LAH!) and must not be longer than 3 words. Commercial-related names are no-nos, as there are already enough places on the track to place the advertisements.
It's a free-for-all contest, other than the employees of TODAY, SingaporeGP, authorised agencies and main sponsors of the Singapore GP.
